The initial feedback we received for Section 4 was that AI problems are essentially demands for improvements in user experience (more relevant suggestions) and the outcome is an improvement on that metric (higher selection %, increased time spent on platform, etc.). We considered whether that was a narrow viewpoint in that it seemed specific to recommendation or search engine development, but we wanted to pose the question to a broader audience.

Do any of you work in industries or with products where you're tasked with solving a problem other than incremental improvements to user experience? How does the Problem Mapping section align with your experience, if at all?
